Idea 1: How do I?

Use AR to detach consumer electronic products' exterior and show gesture control.

Why

For simplicity and aesthetic, iconography on todays digital products are often minimal. With on-screen interaction, icons can have labels, and even for the ones without, a mouse hovering usually bring out instruction for a button. With physical devices, gesture are hard to remember, and customers are missing out on the better experience that they could have.

Brands make education videos to teach customers how to do stuff:

How to do it

Use a "how to" app to learn about hidden but convenient hardware interactions through AR. When the camera is pointed at a product a 2D translucent animation is anchored around the object to show gesture controls.

Process: Ar view recognize product, load 3D model, show UIs around 3D models, user see animation overlay by tapping on desired interaction
