“Be regular and orderly in your life, so that you may be violent and original in your work” — Gustav Flaubert (French novelist)

For many of us, our inbox is overflowing, notes are unorganised, and our to-do list is all over the place. This is not supporting us to do the magical, VALUABLE work that we are passionate about. We are frustrated, overwhelmed, and stressed out, not knowing where to even start. We’ve been telling ourselves for so long that we will sit down and organise everything, yet it still hasn’t happened. Or maybe we have tried to sort everything out, and then it all just piles up again.

This has been me. Doing a surge of organisation only to feel like it didn't really get me anywhere. However, at the start of 2023 I decided that my word for the year would be: GROUNDED. This meant energetically, as well as creating stability by setting up effective systems in my life that support me to do the things that matter. Whether: keeping my space clean and tidy, the sink clear of dishes, or writing blog posts and creating content for instagram. After reflecting deeply (and doing a lot of journaling) on how I actually want to spend my time, and what do I truly enjoy, I decided that:

I want to spend as little time as possible on what doesn’t spark joy, and as much time as possible on what I absolutely love.

So I decided that I was going to set up a simple, easy-to-maintain system for keeping my digital workspace organised that can support me to do my best creative work. Through researching, experimenting, and refining, I’ve created that system and I feel way more calm and grounded because of it. That’s why I’m hosting a digital organisation circle, I know that organisation can feel stressful and overwhelming, so I’m creating a group container where we won’t have to go it alone. It’s simply about showing up and making a start on something we so often put to the side.

I know that all the information is out there, the blog posts, productivity books, and YouTube videos, on how to have an organised life. But these days, information doesn’t cut it. We need support and accountability to actually integrate information into our life. And most of all, we need to take action. The container of this group allows accountability, a dedicated time to take action and make real progress, as well as a some jolly company and emotional support along the way. Let’s make organisation FUN again.

Four Weeks, Four Modules

Each week we’ll come together for a live 60 minute organisation session, and you’ll receive a written guide with my favourite tips on the week’s focus area.

<aside> 💌 Week 1: Organising Email. Ahhhh the overflowing inbox. In Week 1 I’ll share my best tips for keeping an organised inbox, and then we’ll spend the live session unsubscribing from all those email newsletters (or another task of your choosing).

<aside> 📂 Week 2: Organising Files. Anyone else have a million things in their downloads folder? This week I'll share my favourite system for organising my computer files, and together we’ll focus on tidying up our digital filing system.

<aside> 📝 Week 3: Organising Notes. Week 3 is for all of us who simply need to write things down! Whether it’s Apple Notes, Notion, or something else, we’re going to spend some time organising our digital notes so that all those brilliant ideas don’t get forgotten.
