Replica has created a tool for game developers, animators, and creatives to generate realistic sounding TTS (Text-to-Speech). It's enabled by combining a voice actor's talent and a powerful artificial intelligence. The AI learns how to speak by listening to the voice actor's style, pacing, and emotion.
We are looking for experienced voice actors to create Replica Voices to be featured on our platform. Each Replica Voice needs to be trained for a specific role.
For example, a voice actor could train a Replica Voice that'd be great as a pirate captain. The same voice actor could train another Replica Voice that's great for narrating a story.
You may have heard of the voice actor behind the voice of Siri. She trained Apple's AI voice by recording 50 hours of her voice. Like Apple, we're training a range of AI voices and we're looking for professional voice actors to help. Unlike Apple, we only need around 2 hours of voice audio.
These AI voices will be featured in a marketplace. This will be similar to other marketplaces like Voice123 or Fiverr, but instead of being paid to physically record, you'll be paid when someone uses the AI characters you create.
This contract/payment is to spend the time to create a Replica Voice and list it on our platform for 12 months. We're hoping in 12 months we'll have enough demand that you'll be able to decide if you'd like to keep the Replica Voice on the marketplace and earn royalties, or you can let us know that you'd like it removed.
We are excited to give voice actors the opportunity to create their own AI-powered voices and take advantage of this new technology to do jobs not possible by a human voice actor.
