If you believe that talent is evenly distributed and opportunities are not.

If you want to help disrupt a multi $Bn industry of outsourcing and software development by bringing much-needed transparency to the model. If you are passionate about building a startup with a small&mighty team of builders that care. Then Remotely is for you.

Remotely is leveling the playing field so top developers outside main tech hubs can access the best career opportunities. We aspire to become the place where developers go to maximize their full potential.

We are a marketplace that is vetting both technical talent and startups.

Our goal is to open up an entirely new pool of talent that’s otherwise hard to reach to the startups, while bringing the best opportunities to our network, offering full-time and long-term relationships as if they were hired in-house.

The founders of Remotely started a software startup that grew a large team (100+ people) outside the US, and was successfully acquired. We are now building in public with a great level of transparency: feel free to follow our journey through our substack newsletter here.

Building Remotely.Works in Public

Remotely is now looking for excellent talent to join our team. If you are curious, bold, and are looking to have fun while building a company, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

Engineering Challenge

The one thing that makes Remotely so unique, is an internal tool that we built called Gitsight. This tool allows us to see engineers’ open-source contributions, analyze them, and objectively stack-rank contributors with great tech-stack granularity. So when we evaluate or search for candidates, this information allows us to find better matches faster.

Besides Gitsight, we are building a new digital experience where developers and startups can meet. Developers can seamlessly and transparently go through multiple recruiting processes, and once they accept an offer they can easily manage their relationship with the employer. Similarly, the startup can easily understand how their recruiting funnels are performing, as well as manage their existing remoters with ease.
