Overview

This small firm offers fractional General Counsel services to Seed and Series A startups. They seek a no-code developer experienced in Airtable, Zapier, Make, integrating 3rd party APIs, and Airtable front-ends such as Stacker to help automate and streamline (”productize”) the services it offers to early-stage startups, such as generating legal documents, reviewing existing legal documents, and facilitating equity grants.

Currently, the firm uses Airtable to manage some clients and their projects. They also have a MVP of a client portal built with Airtable and Stacker.

Dashboard for billing-related KPIs

Currently, the firm uses LeanLaw and Quick Books online for time-keeping, invoicing, and financial reporting.

Using data from Quickbooks online, the firm would like a KPI dashboard for the following metrics—

Streamlining the delivery of equity issuance services

Currently, issuing equity for clients is time-consuming and tedious.

Specific data has to be collected from clients, drafts have to be approved, and it’s hard for Legal and Ops PC’s team to manage and track the process from “new equity promise” to “executed equity grant”.

One of the first projects of the engagement will be to streamline the delivery of this service though automations and custom internal tools.

Assets

• An existing Airtable base exists with client data. Access will be given.
• An existing Stacker portal exists for the law firm’s MVP.
• Existing scoping work has been done with another consultant to determine the data structure and logic around managing equity issuance for clients. This will be provided.
• You’ll be able to have a handoff with the previous consultant to gain additional context.
