Welcome

Planet Kamra is a table-top roleplaying game about an Alliance of otherworldly strangers attempting to survive a competition orchestrated by a god-like cosmic entity named Kamra. Players create human-looking characters that retain abilities from their actual non-human forms. They will use Insight to traverse Kamra's strange planet, their Resolve to unravel rival Alliances, and their Prowess to endure dangerous challenges.

The game allows you to play out the drama of Reality TV shows, think Survivor or Big Brother, in a high-action Science Fantasy setting. The intense, fail-forward nature of the game will bring out the excitement of combat and social interaction alike. Giving you and your game group the option to overcome obstacles in any way you want.

What's Missing

This the first of many Planet Kamra play test versions and it is intentionally incomplete. The goal is to give you, the play tester, just enough material to get started with, so that I can see what's missing from the rules and how you improvise around it. There are some aspects of Blades in the Dark that I have left out for now because I'm not sure if I want them in the game or not. If you feel like they are necessary or help you please use them.

What's Different & New

If you are familiar with Blades in the Dark, check out this list of key differences in the games. Beyond these aspects, it's safe to assume you can pull in missing mechanics from Blades in the Dark if you feel like it's necessary. Do not remove or change these aspects of the game.
