Year 31 has been the best year of my life. For the first time, I felt like I've lived up to my potential. More of this moving forward, please!
- To love and to be loved is life's greatest joy.
- The good old days are happening right now. What will I (you) do with them?
- Success is entirely subjective and personal. Any objective measure applied generically to everyone is terrible.
- The price of success should never be taking the people you love for granted.
- Good times far outnumber bad times, yet the mind tends to dwell on the bad. How do you change that?
- Life is more mundane moments than highlight reels. I spent more time riding the subway and making morning coffee than exploring Japan. Learning to enjoy the mundane seems like an easy way to uplevel your life.
- The pace of AI-driven technological change this year was insane. There hasn't been a better time to shake up the status quo across every industry. Curiosity and risk-taking will crown new winners—will it be us (you)?
- The world is a very malleable place. If you know what you want, and you go for it with maximum energy and drive and passion, the world will often reconfigure itself around you much more quickly and easily than you would think.
- Comparison is the thief of joy. There is always someone doing better, always someone doing worse.
- As always, this is just for myself.
"Love says 'I am everything.' Wisdom says 'I am nothing.' Between the two my life flows"
