  • Notion will search across your apps to provide a concise summary of the projects progress — citing its sources so you can trace information back if needed.

Example: "Catch me up on the project to make our mobile app more user-friendly. Any blockers?"

Target your search to specific tools

Narrow down your search results and get more relevant information by focusing on specific sources within your connected workspace.

  • Use the dropdown menu before your search to select a specific source, such as an app, teamspace, or individual Notion page (including its subpages).

  • By targeting your search, Notion AI will provide more tailored answers based on the selected source, enhancing the accuracy and relevance of the information you receive.

Asking a question is often just the first step in your workflow. Unlike regular search apps that are siloed away, Notion AI lets you take action from the information it surfaces by creating new pages in your workspace — like a new meeting agenda for your project standup.

  • After getting an answer, you can ask Notion AI to create a new document based on the information it found, even basing it off of a previous page, like last week’s standup agenda.

  • Notion AI will generate a new page with the requested content, formatted based on your request.

  • Save the page to edit or refine your document as needed.
