Berlin Hub collects no personal information. The app does not use analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or any third-party tracking services.

Third-party services

Berlin Hub displays publicly available content from the following sources: Open-Meteo (weather), Reddit (community posts), The Berliner / Berlin.de (news), Ticketmaster (events), S-Bahn Berlin (transport alerts). All requests are made directly from your device to these public APIs. No personal data is transmitted in these requests.

In-app browser

When you tap a link, it opens in an in-app browser (Safari). Standard browser behavior applies — Berlin Hub has no access to your browsing activity within that browser.

What is Berlin Hub?

Berlin Hub is a daily briefing app for Berlin residents. It aggregates weather, S-Bahn disruptions, local news, Reddit posts, upcoming events, and police reports in one place.

Frequently asked questions

• The app shows outdated content Pull down on the home screen to refresh all data sources.
• An article opens in a browser instead of staying in the app Make sure you have the latest version installed via TestFlight.
• S-Bahn alerts are missing The ticker only shows disruptions that started within the last 7 days. If there are no recent disruptions, it will display "No major disruptions."
• Events show "No events found" Events are sourced from Ticketmaster. If none are listed, there may be no upcoming events in the database for Berlin this week.
