unbought is built so we know as little about you as possible. this page explains exactly what that means.

the short version

if you stop using the app and delete it, there is nothing left of you on our end.

what we collect

wishlist data (items you add, wait times, prices, notes, your saved-money tally): stored in your own icloud account. apple holds it. we don't.

purchase data: when you subscribe to unbought premium, apple handles the transaction. we receive a receipt that confirms you're a subscriber. we never see your name, email, card details, or billing address.

crash reports (optional): if you opt in to share diagnostics with apple, apple may send us anonymised crash logs. these contain no personal information.

that's the whole list.

the ai voice

when you tap "the voice," the app generates a reason not to buy your item.

where possible, this runs on your device and nothing leaves your phone.

when an item needs cloud processing (longer descriptions, complex items), we send the item name and price to our ai provider. we do not send your name, email, apple id, device id, location, or any other wishlist items. the request is not logged against you because there is no "you" attached to it.

our ai provider is contractually prohibited from training on this data.

what we don't do
