- During the talk:
-
Ask guiding questions
Instead of simply asking “how am I doing?” try asking more specific questions like:
Topic: Presentation
- How can I get better at engaging with the audience?
- In what ways can I improve presentation opening?
- What advice would you give me to help me transition from point A to point B?
- How can I be prepared for our next quarterly presentation ?
-
Ask for clarity: “When you say this didn’t meet your expectations, where did I fall short on this task?”
