• Some listeners get bored and impatient
• Some people just want to move the conversation forward.
• Some people want to correct the speaker
• Sometimes speaker dominate the conversation
• Maybe it’s cultural
• Maybe it is a sign of social anxiety
• Maybe it is emergency

How to interrupt interruptors?

Keep going but tactfully

• “May I finish?”
• “I have a few more points to make and then I’ll be able to listen to what you have to say.”
