Minigame Brief
If a teacher assigns Plot Twister 1 after a project, students will play Gift Tagger, a minigame for identifying the personal values, called Gifts, they brought to that project.
The minigame instructs students to pick their Gifts from a list of personal values. They pick three (3) Gifts total: a Main Gift, an Add-On, and a Topper.*
- The Main Gift is the skill or value the student felt was their most important contribution to their project. The Add-On is their second most important contribution, and the Topper is their third.
- There is a Plot Twister description of every Gift, along with a diverse selection of dictionary descriptions. The intention is to offer students multiple perspectives so the student can choose their own definition.
- If a student has certain Role Models picked, they can also see their Role Models' definitions of the Gift.
- Students are ultimately encouraged to write their own definitions of each Gift.
- Gift Synonyms help index the relationality between common concepts or themes, making searching and sorting easier.
Gift Tagger can be found online after completing a to-do in the Plot Twisters Work Journal, or in the Plot Twister Playbook on seed paper.
