Congratulations! You have completed an approved CDAA course, and you’re ready to become a Certified Digital Asset Advisor.

The next phase is for you to take part in the challenges, which will prove you understand how to use wallets and self-custody technology, as well as participate in Decentralized Finance protocols.

Before you Start

To go through the DeFi challenges you’ll need

• an Ethereum wallet (not an exchange account). This can be MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Argent
• Some funds in that wallet. You’ll need some crypto funds to go through the transactions, and you’ll need some ETH for Gas for transactions.
• We recommend you have at least $300 worth of funds. Some of this will be used as gas, some will be supplied as liquidity (which you will be earning on). At the end, you will need 250 USDC on Polygon for the CDAA certificate and annual membership.
• Your POAP from the course you completed
• You should also account for at least an hour or a little longer for the challenges. You don’t have to complete all the challenges at once. Since everything is checked using your wallet, you can come back anytime to finish.

Polygon and Mainnet

You can complete all the transactions on Polygon, and some can be completed on Ethereum Mainnet. Remember you will need ETH to conduct transactions on Ethereum Mainnet, and MATIC to conduct transactions on Polygon. You will also need some USDC for the challenges, and 250 USDC for the final certification subscription.

If you don’t have all 3 tokens, you can always swap on Uniswap, Sushi, 1inch, or some other DEX to make sure you have them all.
