Context

ReCap Autodesk is a leading software in handling large Point Clouds data & we had often the request from our user to support the *.RCP & *.RCS formats.

Today, Pixyz handles these format and let you import your Point Clouds format with the information assiociated: Point's position, color and intensity.

How To

In order to import ReCap files, you'll need to :

• STEP 1: Download the ReCapSDK v20.1.1 ,from Autodesk Developer Network website, with a valid Autodesk developer account.

• STEP 2: Then unzip it to your desktop, for example in your program files folder.
• STEP 3: Precise to Pixyz Plugin how it can leverage the SDK ReCap. For that, get to Preferences > Pixyz and for ReCapSDKpath parameter target the bin folder 📂
