<aside> 💡 *In order to simplify managing materials, I have made this database a little bit more complicated. For some projects you might not need a very specific material (e.g. 22-gauge, half-hard, square brass wire) but any old wire will do.

To allow for this, I have add an epic-subtask type relationship within the database, using rollups and formulas to calculate the stock status of these general materials based on either A. a self-reported stock status (in* Status) or B. the stock status of the items you define as specific versions of the general item (by relating the specific item to the general item in ⇗ General Material).
