You may also want to take a look at Room Rules for rules that apply to specific channels.

The rules exist to support the PAD Core Values! Please read them!

1. Treat people with respect

In PAD, we want people to be themselves as much as possible. That means we're not always going to see things the same way. Be kind, even if you disagree.

If you do not know how to be kind to those with whom you disagree, this is not the community for you.

1.1. Get to know people before you get sexual

We are a group of adults in a community largely focused on sexual art, but that does not mean that all sexual behavior is appropriate. Messaging someone you don't know with immediate sexual overtures is an example of inappropriate behavior. Do not assume that an individual wants to act on kinks you see in their art or their commissions.

Respecting people includes getting to know them as people, and making sure sexual behavior is wanted before entering into sexual discussion with them.

This is especially true for members new to our community! While we do not--and will not--police DMs, we will take evidence of harassment very seriously. Cases will be handled on an individual basis, but may result in an immediate ban.

2. No causing drama

In this case, "causing drama" means intentionally raising topics of discussion which you know—or are made aware—are contentious. Particularly in channels in which such discussion does not belong.

2.1. No discussion of politics.

2.2. No discussion of religions.

2.3. No gossiping.

2.4. No denigration of... anyone, really.

2.5. Keep the peace

PAD is intended to be a positive place where people can enjoy The Lion King with like-minded folks. It is difficult to do that in an environment choked with negativity, including personal venting, inter-personal squabbling, passive-aggressive behavior, etc... Especially in the Watering Hole room, or wherever new members are greeted.

The "Outside the Pridelands" room may be used for seeking support in good faith, but even within that room members should make their best attempt to seek peace. (see rules 3.3 and 4.4)

3. Follow the law
