Exchange Notes

though i am quite easy to please overall, there are a few preferences that i have for my requests in general!

setting wise, i have a strong preference for the following:

• fantasy! low, high, urban, historical—you name it! i tend to use fantasy as a catch-all for things involving magic, non-human races, and monsters. honestly if it could be a jrpg, it's absolutely my style
• isekai-esque setups! it's pretty much one of the only ways i'd be interested in modern, non-fantasy settings. the fish out of water in a world they're unfamiliar with is really fun to play! of course this goes both ways, too: modern character to a non-modern setting and vice versa!
• medieval/historical settings, even without fantasy elements! knights, royalty, bandits—the works! i don't have a preference towards realistic accuracy or anything, but i do ask that real-world figures aren't present and real-world events aren't focused on unless requested.

content-wise, i'm a gremlin for smut, angst, and hurt/comfort—these aren't mutually exclusive to the work, either! basic fluff without either component isn't so much my speed unless specifically prompted. i love worldbuilding through smut, worldbuilding as a platform for smut, and smut for the sake of worldbuilding. i also have a fondness for adventures, exploring fantasy worlds, watching character relationships develop (or fall apart!), and character/relationship development/exploration through smut, even if those relationships are casual or toxic.

i like awful bad ends just as much as i like good/happy-for-now ends, though i dislike on the nose 'in love and happily ever after' type endings (unless paired with non-standard tropes, like happily living life monsters!). that said, feel free to go where the story takes you! when in doubt, pull from my likes—there are many things that i'm fond of there!
