Our three-sided marketplace connects brands with professional outdoor experts, who in turn, provide consumers with credible guidance in this high-consideration and growing purchase category. ⚡️What we're looking for

As an Outdoorly Expert, you're a true outdoor pro, meaning you live out your love for the outdoors every day. To you, the outdoors isn’t just a hobby — it’s a lifestyle.

As an Expert in Women’s Gear, you are especially knowledgeable and passionate about women’s gear and participation in the outdoors. You’re eager to help everyone enjoy the outdoors, but you know that when it comes to gear for women, you can’t just “shrink it and pink it.” You understand and can explain the differences between a variety of men’s and women’s gear, including (but not limited to!) skis, jackets, backpacks, and more.

You're a gearhead and a chatterbox. You combine years of expertise with technical knowledge: you know gear, and you can talk about it all day, too. Most importantly, you’re willing to help people of all backgrounds and skill levels find the perfect kit for them.

As a Gear Expert, you will be a public representative of Outdoorly and the brands we partner with. You will interact with customers directly via live chat, and they will be able to see the products you recommend.

This position is freelance and you can work where-ever and whenever you want from your phone! All we ask is that you commit 5-10 hours per week to being available online. This position pays $15-20 per hour depending on the volume you pick up.

📓Responsibilities

• Interact with customers via live chat to give personalized product advice
• Write gear recommendations for varying backgrounds and skill levels to help guide individuals toward the right product
• Contribute to the Outdoorly Expert Advisory Committee by providing feedback about the app and user experience, suggesting new features, and reporting bugs

🛠Qualifications

• You have professional experience in the outdoor industry
• You have a thorough technical knowledge of a wide range of outdoor gear, especially women’s gear
• You understand the differences between men’s and women’s gear and can explain them to a non-specialist audience
• You are friendly and patient; you’re willing to explain gear terminology to outdoor newbies when necessary
• You have a strong WiFi connection (this position is online)
• You have great writing and communication skills
• You are able to commit 5 to 10 hours per week to this position
