Steps to complete:

Every new Guide in training will complete one Support Guide Shadow Shifts and then two Observation Shift, where the Mentor or Lead Guide upon your second Observation shift should be able to give you a PASS

Select a time that works for you by adding your name into one of the “Wave 6 Guide Name” slots.

Book in your 1 Shadow shift below
- During this shift is when you will be shadowing a Guide as they support guide, watching their every move, preparing with them etc.
- Under the type category, select Shadow #1 When you click on the cell. It will open up options for you to select.
- 2 Guides in training can sign up for each shadow shift.

Next Book in your 2 Observation shifts below
- During these shifts, a mentor will be shadowing you as you Support Guide the class that they were originally supporting. They will be sitting beside you as a beacon of support the entire time. Please select Observation #1 or Observation #2 as the type for this shifts
- Only one Guide can be observed as an SG at a time, if you notice someone has signed up as an Observation #1 or Observation #2 then please do not add your name.
- If you were not given a ‘PASS’ from the Mentor/Lead Guide on your Support Guidance, then you may be required to do a 3rd Observation

Reach out to the Support Guide( Mentor) for each shift 24 hours prior to advise them you will be shadowing/Support Guiding for them
Remember that you need to pass you SG Mentor Observation in order to bid and be approved for your shifts on the floor.
NOTE - Be sure to arrive on time to ensure ample time to calibrate with the mentor and the class guide.
