That’s why we’re building Optimist Labs—a studio that specializes in the creation and distribution of online courses.

Our vision is to create a new framework and business model:

• Part incubator
• Part accelerator
• Part consulting firm

We'll partner with writers, designers, thinkers, and makers to help them create and launch their own online course. Using our know-how, marketing channels, and planning expertise, we will offer a full-service model for building and launching new courses as a business.

The Head of Optimist Labs will be responsible for building an entirely new business model from scratch.

This person will have full autonomy to steer the direction of this new business to make sure that it meets or exceeds our growth goals.

The ideal person will possess a few key traits:

• Meticulous attention to detail
• Forethought and foresight for building bulletproof plans and strategies
• Mastery of delegation; capable of orchestrating a team of contractors, collaborators, and freelancers
• Clear and direct communication skills
• Next-level reliability and organization

This is a freelance, contract role.

Hourly, daily, or weekly rates considered ($50-75/hour). Estimated 10-20 hours per week.
