Client Partnership and Communications

Optimist doesn't have sales people or account managers who over-promise and underdeliver.

As a Content Marketing Strategist, you're the client's partner who is invested in their success.

You'll have regular meetings with clients to review metrics, discuss strategy, and learn about changes to their business. You'll also use this time to build rapport and relationships with client contacts.

The right candidate may also have the opportunity to field inbound sales inquiries and earn additional commission on new deals.

Content Marketing Strategy, Research, & Reporting

You will own and direct the content marketing and SEO strategy for the clients that you lead.

You'll own the weekly client reporting, get your hands dirty in Ahrefs, build SEO-driven content marketing strategies from scratch, and figure out new, better ways to drive growth for our clients.

In conjunction with the Strategy Director and the other strategy leads, you will analyze performance, conduct or direct relevant research, and put together a new content marketing plan each cycle.
