Opra Digital, LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the mobile application HangUp (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App.

We collect only the minimal information necessary to provide and improve your HangUp experience:

• Account Verification: When you log in, we send a one-time SMS verification code to confirm your identity. We do not store your phone number beyond what is necessary for verification.
• Name: We collect and display your name within the app to help friends identify each other during interactions.
• Location: We use your location to enable proximity-based pairing so you can connect and hang out with friends nearby. Location data is used only for this feature and is not stored or shared.
• Usage Data: We collect anonymized, aggregated data about app usage to understand how users interact with HangUp. This helps us improve user experience and performance.

2. How We Use Information

• To authenticate users via SMS verification.
• To analyze anonymized usage trends for UX and performance improvements.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not share user data with any third parties, except:

• Service Providers: Only when necessary to provide core functionality (e.g., SMS verification provider).

4. Data Retention

We retain minimal data only as long as necessary to operate the App and ensure its security. Anonymous analytics data may be retained for internal analysis.

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect information during transmission and storage. However, no electronic system is completely secure.
