Upgrade 17: Jovian - Overview

This upgrade introduces several key improvements to enhance network performance and security.

• Configurable Minimum Basefee: Allows chain operators to specify a minimum base fee to shorten the length of prioritt fee auctions.

We currently expect Upgrade 17 to ship to Mainnet in mid November.

• Release for Sepolia superchain 31st October
• Activation on Sepolia superchain: 12th November
• Activation on Mainnet superchain: 25th November
