About me


Since I was little, I have always had a keen interest in food and cooking, and spent much of my childhood badgering my parents to let me help them with various dinner parties and gatherings they were having at home. Throughout both school and university, I found myself increasingly hosting supper parties for my friends, and started to realise the extent of the enjoyment and therapeutic benefits I took from being in the kitchen. Subsequently, three years ago I set up an Instagram account going by the name of Peckish Kitchen and from that, began my own part-time job catering business as a freelance chef, and have since completed a wide range of jobs from family holidays in the UK and abroad, to parties of over 180 guests. Over the last couple of years, I have also worked closely with a very well established London-based catering company, Caiger and Co., who have massively helped develop my knowledge of cooking techniques, flavour combinations and plating styles, which is something I feel I have been able to transfer well into my freelance jobs.
