Role brief:
Newton Venture Program is looking for an organised, self-motivated and diligent Community and Events Coordinator to join a fast-paced, collaborative and inclusive team delivering high-quality online and in-person venture capital training and development programs. The Community and Events Coordinator will primarily focus on engaging and bringing together our ever-growing global community through events (virtual and in-person) and support the delivery of our product portfolio by owning the responsibilities outlined below.

Newton Venture Program is a joint venture between LocalGlobe VC and London Business School, providing world-class programs for aspiring and practising professionals in venture capital. Newton’s mission is to level the playing field for people from typically overlooked backgrounds - ensuring that the next generation of venture investors represents the world we live in by making the practice of venture capital and technology transfer globally widespread and accessible.
There are two strands to our community. The community first builds during the learner’s time as part of the program cohort. The second is the wider Newton community the learner becomes part of as they transition to becoming part of an alumni, once the program is completed.

Owning the integral administrative tasks assisting the successful delivery of our programs
Develop well-defined processes to ensure the successful delivery of our programs.
Maintenance of the Learning Management System with the potential to work with the product team on developing the LMS further,
Customer Experience
Note:
Attendance is expected at live deliverables:*
Newton Fundamentals: Once a week in the evening over 8/10 weeks, twice a year
Newton Fellowship: In person ****12-15 days a year which are long working days
About you:
Newton’s Community and Events Coordinator should have 2-3 years experience in events management / program and/or project management delivery over six months or more or similar. Process and operationally sound, and a track record of delivering at pace to a high quality. Experience working in an executive educational institute or start-up is desirable but not required. The role will give you exposure to venture capital and executive education ecosystems and have numerous growth opportunities to learn and develop as Newton scales its product offerings.

Compensation Expectations:
£30-35k depending on experience
