How do I create my first entry? Tap the Write tab (✏) and tap New in the top left. Give your entry a title, add a date, location and your thoughts. Tap Save when done.
How do I add photos to an entry? In the Write tab, tap the 📎 toolbar button and select Add Photo. You can add multiple photos to a single entry.
How do I import photos from my iPhone? Go to the Media tab (◻) and tap Import. Select photos from your iPhone library — they'll appear in your media grid and can be used in photo books.
How do I find a specific entry? Use the Search tab (○) to search across all entries by title, content or location. You can also browse by tag in the Tags tab (◈) or filter by year and location in the Journal tab (≡).
How do I group entries by location or tag? In the Journal tab, tap the group selector at the top to switch between Year, Location and Category views.
What are note boxes? Note boxes are structured sections you can add inside any entry — Goals, Gratitude, Achievements, Bucket List, Books Read, Fitness and more. Tap the Notes (📝) button in the Write toolbar to add one. The purpose of the note boxes is to allow content entered in these boxes to be captured and categorised so that they can be organised or printed as lists on their own from the Tags tab.
How do I create a photo book? Go to the Media tab (◻) → scroll down to Digital Books → tap Create a new photo book. Add pages, drag in photos, add text and captions. Export as a PDF when ready.
How many photo books can I have? Free accounts include 1 photo book of up to 13 pages just like the Sample Photo Book. Premium unlocks up to 3 books with unlimited pages.
Can I print my photo book? Yes — export as a PDF and print at any print shop or home printer. A5 Portrait, Square and A5 Landscape sizes are available on Premium.
How do I back up my data? Go to Settings (❦ button, top right) → Backup & Restore → Export JSON. Save the file to your Files app, email it to yourself, or save to iCloud Drive. Do this regularly to keep your data safe.
How do I restore from a backup? Go to Settings → Backup & Restore → Import JSON → select your backup file. This will restore all your entries, places and settings.
