About us 👩‍💻 👨‍💻

Molecule.one is a Polish start-up operating in the deeptech/drug discovery industry. We are building one of the world’s first solutions for planning the synthesis of organic compounds using AI (in short: our product tells scientists how to make, for example, medicines). 🧬

We cooperate with some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. A year ago, we were the first start-up from Central and Eastern Europe to debut on the TechCrunch Disrupt SF stage. We are financially stable and last month we have closed a funding round of 4.6M USD supported by top US & European investors - you can read more here. We are currently expanding our team, which at the moment consists of 12 people. 💪

While these days we’re working remotely, we have an office in Warsaw and we will be at least partially going back there when the dust settles a bit. 🏰

Our technology stack includes JavaScript (React + Feathers), Python (PyTorch) and Rust. We use AWS and GitLab (+GitLab CI). 🎛️

Who we're looking for 👤

<aside> ⭐ We'd like to work with someone who presents a pragmatic approach to code and a good attitude to people. We don't expect chemical knowledge from you, however we hope that you will be keen to learn it quickly.

Our ideal employee would share:

Analytical thinking, deep problem-solving skills.
Good communication and independence.
Solid commercial experience with the ES6 + Node.
Experience with frontend component framework (np. React, Vue, Angular).
Experience with version control and code management tools.
Knowledge of paradigms, algorithms, data structures and common patterns.
Knowledge of English enabling to speak and write freely.
