Mix Universe is a unique musical sandbox game that puts you in the role of a Mixonaut tasked with creating and sharing musical vibes throughout the universe called mixes. All mixes are built in-game and play 100% real-time based on their connections. Mixonauts can also share what they make with each other using the steam workshop!

Mix Universe is solo developed by Chris Zukowski, also known as Zuko, who has been developing games for 11 years starting as an environment artist. Mix Universe started as a passion project with a simple idea to make an audio visual experience in Unreal in late 2018. As Unreal’s audio capabilities expanded, Mix Universe’s in-game abilities did as well. This is the main reason why it is still an early access game. There will be game breaking bugs due to being right on the tip of the most experimental and cutting edge Unreal Engine 5 technology for audio.
