OKRs - Databases

Why?

In businesses, Objectives and Key Results are used to track progress and to make sure teams focus on what matters to the business. I have experienced great success with OKRs at work and decided to apply the same principle to my personal life.

2020

When the pandemic hit the world in early 2020 and I started to work from home, I decided to create OKRs for myself to make sure I stay focused.

Towards the end of 2020, I reflected on the year and completed everything I set out to do at the beginning of the year. In fact, I exceeded my goal to publish a book and ended up publishing two books!

2021

For the new year, I decided to publish my OKRs publicly. The goal is to encourage others to follow a pattern to structure their life and what they want to achieve.

There are two groups of OKRs: Personal and Your Analytics (a privacy-friendly web analytics platform).

Personal

"10x (10k+ in total) my Twitter audience so that I can reach as many people globally as possible and help them learn about web development."

Your Analytics (YA)

"Grow YA to a point where it generates $500 in MRR."
