A. DoubleGDP's HIR's Commitment

SDRI: @Mutale Chibwe

  1. Award the following benefits throughout the student’s journey through our core program curriculum (approx. 7 months) plus the career searching curriculum (approx. 3 months):
    1. Free housing at Nkwashi that has:
      1. A stable power supply 24/7 to optimize learning
      2. A conducive work environment
    2. Access to a laptop meeting these requirements
    3. Access to a high-speed and stable internet connection that meets these minimum requirements (and a MiFi device, if needed)
    4. A monthly living stipend of $200/month ($300 for those that joined the program before February 2022)
  2. Review extensions of benefits for non-active students or students that are past their first three months of job searching and still haven’t gotten paid:
  3. If necessary, help direct potential candidates into Microverse's application process
  4. Potentially help with job search and placement (e.g., identifying companies and roles that may be interested)
  5. Provide a good path for them to stay and live in the city.

B. Microverse's Commitment

SDRI: @Gaby Suarez

  1. Market the opportunity to Microverse applicants
  2. Run applicants through our technical and soft skill selection process
  3. Prioritize spots for our 2-5 student residents each cohort
  4. Provide a ~10-month learning experience where students will learn to become remote, professional web developers and land a job
