This Privacy Policy describes how Redactly (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information when you use the Redactly application.

Redactly is designed as a privacy-focused screenshot editing tool. We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the App.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Redactly does not collect, store, or retain:

• Screenshots, images, or screen recordings
• Edited or redacted content
• Text contained within screenshots
• Personal files, messages, or contacts
• Advertising identifiers
• User accounts or profile information
• Location data
• Biometric or face data

All image editing occurs locally on the user’s device.

2. Limited Data Processing

Redactly offers optional features that require limited data processing.

When enabled by the user, certain features may transmit extracted text only to a third-party AI service for processing.
