What you'll be doing (a day in the life)
- Being a consultant at MF Consulting revolves around one thing: helping real people solve real problems. AI can do a lot of the heavy lifting these days — but someone still needs to sit across from the client, understand what's actually going on, and translate that into a system that works.
- More specifically:
- You talk to clients — discovery calls, user interviews, check-ins. You're the person who listens, asks the right questions, and makes people feel like they're in good hands.
- You run workshops and trainings — teaching teams how to use Notion, how to think about their workflows, and how to work with AI. You feel confident in a video call and make complex things feel simple.
- You design and build systems in Notion — the database architecture, the interfaces people use every day, the automations that save hours of manual work. You'll learn this if you don't know it yet.
- You work with AI constantly — to move faster, build better, and replace the parts of your own job that a machine can do so you can focus on the parts it can't: being human.
- You communicate proactively — the client always knows what's happening, what's next, and that they're taken care of.
- And then, like in every job, there's also meta work:
- Organise and project manage client projects.
- Communicate and collaborate with the other team members to solve complex problems together.
- Document your learnings and mistakes so that others can have an accelerated development.
- Oh and you’ll be at the absolute edge of AI, ready for the craziest rollercoaster that the work world has seen (it’s incredibly fun!)
Requirements
- You're a people person. You're confident on calls, comfortable presenting to a room (even a virtual one), and you have the kind of energy that makes clients feel they're in good hands. This is the most important thing on this list.
- You're excited about AI. Not in a "yeah, it's cool I guess" kind of way — in a "this is the most fascinating thing to happen in a long time" kind of way. You don't need to be an expert. But when you hear about a new AI tool or capability, your first instinct should be to try it.
- You have high agency. When you hit a wall, you come with three ideas for how to get around it, not a question about what to do next. You figure things out. You don't wait for instructions.
