The postgraduate certification programme (PGCert)in Clinical Practice, Management and Education (CPME) is offered by  the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) Medical School in  association with Medics Academy, The award level currently being offered is certification (60 credits).

1. Are there any in person requirements for the programme?

There are no in person requirements for you to go to UCLan. The entire programme is delivered online.

2. How long does it take to complete the certification?

The PGCert CPME programme has a standard timeline of 18 months. There are opportunities to complete in 12 or 24 months but require a conversation with the course lead at UCLan prior to your start date.

3. Are there scholarships available for the programme?

If you are a current member of The Healthcare Leadership Academy (HLA)Fellowship Programme, F|Docs Scholars Programme or have completed a Training in Teaching course you are eligible to receive a scholarship award towards the overall postgraduate tuition.

4. How do I apply for the postgraduate programme? Do I need to do this through UCLan?

In the first instance, express your interest in the programme through Medics.Academy who will then liaise with UCLan. You will need to apply and enrol onto the course as a UCLan student.
