Adding the Mava bot to Discord should take under a minute! To make sure the bot works correctly, you need to enable the correct channel permissions within Discord*.*

Follow These Steps:

  1. After selecting which Discord channel you want the Mava bot in, you might receive an error message like the one below. To fix this, you will need to update the channel permissions in that specific Discord channel.

  1. Open your Discord server and find the channel you added Mava to from the left hand channel list. In this example we are adding the Mava bot to a channel called ‘support-ticket’

  1. Right click on that channel (’support-ticket’ in our example) and select ‘Edit Channel’
