Web3 Social Club is a Twitter Space series by Mask Network where Web3 projects and builders gather and exchange ideas on building cutting-edge social networks and infrastructures.
Starting from 5/8, 2022, we’ve successfully held 7 Spaces with founders and members from pioneer Web3 projects as speakers, amassing 3.6K+ listeners and 1K+ community members. Some of the influential projects we’ve invited include MetaMask, Lens Protocol, RSS3, Collab.Land, Gitcoin, Project Galaxy, Big Time, Fractal, and SlowMist.

Web3 Social Club #004 x Web 3.0 Master Class Ep. 3 | Permissionless Innovation
On July 2, 2022, BlockBeats hosted a Twitter Space collaborating with Mask Network - Web 3.0 Master Class x Web3 Social Club - with guests from MetaMask, Keystone Wallet, and Mask Network.
Under the theme of “Permissionless Innovation”, we invited Kumavis (Aaron Davis) - the founder of MetaMask, Suji Yan - the founder of Mask Network founder, and Lixin Liu - the CEO of Keystone Wallet to share their experience of starting a business in Web3.
They discussed how Web3 startups and entrepreneurs could cooperate with the open-source communities, the key aspects to look at when faced with team collaboration and funding challenges, the major innovation differences between Web2 and Web3, and more, hoping to inspire Web3 newcomers.
Web3 Social Club #003 | Emerging Web3 Projects: What Are They Building?
On June 22, 2022, Mask Network together with SwapChat jointly hosted a Twitter Space (Web3 Social Club Vol. 3). It is the largest Twitter Space Web3 Social Club has ever hosted. A group of Web3 emerging projects joined us covering a wide range of Web3 application scenarios, their product ideating process, the lessons, and motivations, how they perceive DIDs (decentralized identities) and SBTs (soul-bound tokens), and the dynamics between the two. These talented builders also shared opinions on the challenges of building in the current market conditions and inspirations for people who wish to dive into building in Web3.

Web3 Social Club #002 | Running Naked in Web3? The Broken Promise of Telegram
On June 14th, 2022, Mask Network together with SlowMist co-hosted a Twitter Space (Web3 Social Club Vol. 2) and invited founders, cofounders, and team members from leading Web3 projects and top safety projects to discuss their reactions to the implications of the alleged Telegram security loopholes, the security concerns in Web3 communities, alternatives, and what projects and users can do to make Web3 social & communications more secure.

Web3 Social Club #001 | In Elon’s Era, How Can We Decentralize Twitter?
On 10 May 2022, Mask Network hosted a Twitter Space with some of the brightest minds in the industry, discussing what it would take to decentralize Twitter in Elon’s era. The discussion between some of Web3’s most promising social protocols encompassed topics such as their latest product updates and long-term visions, their reactions to Twitter’s recent possible acquisition, and the key challenges they see in building a decentralized social network, among others. The free-flowing conversation was educational and interesting in terms of how these industry innovators view the current Web3 landscape.
