Education is at the heart of everything do at Makerpad. Our goal is to make learning no-code easy, interesting, and fun. With tutorials, we’re also empowering people to learn on their own and “figure it out”.

With your help, we can build the tutorial library to become the largest online resource for no-code education.

There are 3 different types of tutorials you can contribute. Each one has a specific template you can copy and edit.

Let’s take a look at each and how you can submit your own.

<aside> ❗ Before you start creating any content, we need you to familiarize yourself with our content guidelines. These will help you make tutorials to the right spec, plus ensure they pass all quality checks so we can publish on the site.

Instructions:

  1. First, decide what your tutorial is going to cover and give it a title.
  2. Break the tutorial down into at least 10 steps. There is no maximum number of steps your tutorial can include.
  3. When writing out the steps, make sure you number each one as this makes it easier for readers to follow along. Each step should be no more than 50 words long.
  4. You can include images wherever you think they help the reader to understand what you’re explaining with words. If you need an image with every step, that’s fine – the more images, the better. You can use static images or GIFs.
  5. Make sure you don’t miss out any steps. Get someone to follow your tutorial and build it, to check it’s coherent and complete.
  6. Once that’s done and your tutorial is ready, you can submit it here.
