What You Will Do:

• Lead Compute & Stream Processing (CSP) Engineering team at Macrometa.
• Effectively prioritize and manage resources of your team to ensure on-time and high quality deliverables meeting the strategic goals of the business
• Manage, mentor and coach engineering team members to grow technical talent.
• Work with the teams to set goals, plan feature/product development, build a timeline, and stay within budget
• Hire and retain great engineering talent that model the values of Macrometa as well as meet the technical needs of the organization.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other functions within the company

You Will Have:

• Experience leading large remote/globally distributed teams.
• Experience building and managing engineering teams that design and deliver multi-site SaaS systems or large distributed systems.
• Successfully managed teams through significant growth and change
• Experience defining goals and objectives and measuring progress and resources to meet those objectives
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Early stage startup experience
