Background

The start-up company is a transportation service provider that aims to provide a convenient and reliable ride-hailing service to its customers. The company plans to launch its operations in a major city, where there is a high demand for transportation services. The company has identified a gap in the market for a ride-hailing service that is affordable, safe, and offers a high-quality customer experience.

Taxicabby is building an App that offers to revolutionize the way people commute, by offering a convenient and efficient alternative to traditional taxi services in Abuja.

Objectives

The objectives of Taxicabby are as follows:

How it works

Passengers can request a ride with just few taps on their smartphone.

The App proceeds to use a GPS Technology to locate the passenger's current location and matches them with the nearest available driver.

Once the request is accepted, passengers can see the driver's information such as their name, photo, and ratings from previous passengers.

Passengers can also track the driver's location in real time on the App.

Payment is done in 2 methods, either by Card or Cash whereby the cash payment can be done via funds transfer or physical cash.

In addition to benefitting passengers, Taxicabby also provides an opportunity for individuals to earn passive income by becoming drivers.
