How to create credit notes in Likvido?

To create a credit note for one of your invoices, start by going on the invoice page.

Then, click on Actions and select Create credit note

You will then be able to select a date for crediting the invoice, and whether or not you wish for Likvido to send an email to your customer informing them about the credit note.

When you click on Credit, a credit note is added on the invoice, and the invoice is closed.

If you have ticked the box "Communicate to customer?", we send out an email to your customer letting them know about the credit note, and sharing the PDF document with them.

You can find the credit note's PDF under Files.

Posting credit notes to your accounting system

If you have an accounting integration to E-conomic or Xero, the credit note will be automatically posted to your accounting system.

Therefore, if you mark an invoice as closed and credited in Likvido, you will not need to create a credit note in your accounting system as well.
