This is a big update for users who wanted wildcard support. We now use the DNS-01 challenge with the domain has a wildcard alias to get a wildcard certificate. As a result if you have a wildcard in your DNS you will need to use our DNS as we make a _acme-challenge TXT record on your domain for validation.

How to change your aliases and add a wildcard DNS entry

You will need to go to domains and delete the www alias record and create a new one with www replaced with a * character. So for example with this test domain we deleted www.hfirfyy.n10.myws.ca and added *.hfirfyy.n10.myws.ca as the new record. Then go to DNS and delete the www record and adda new * A record. See the photos below as example.
