Intro

Welcome to the show! The topic for this week is going to be the introductory skills for front-end web development! We are going to go over most of the basics here, and we are going to continue skills2know for a while as we get up and running. This is the first part of this series, and we will encompass both the front and the back.

In this episode, we are going to focus strictly on the basics, and then in part two, we will dive into more advanced topics, and hopefully close out our front-end portion. Then we will talk about the backend, which will be a longer series considering that the backend certainly has a lot more saturation with different languages and different frameworks than the front.

Now this is not meant to be the end all conclusive list of things to learn, and we will be scratching the very very surface and going over things that are critical that you will need to know. There are other puzzle pieces that will fit in between things we talk about, and things that we do not. The purpose here is to start to give you a pathway to ensuring that you are getting up to speed the right way, and shows you things that you will likely need to know. Obviously there are basics that are not mentioned, but if you learn the things that are mentioned here you will learn the basics as well.
