The template tracks class name, department, course number, credit hours, grade earned, year taken, semester taken, and grade points earned for each class.
This lets students plan out their studies to avoid nasty surprises about total credits taken or classes missed when they apply for graduation status.
It also provides a convenient spot to keep track of major/minor information and advisor contact info. This is the template I wish I had when I started my undergraduate career.
