Use Kleros Court for user complains or disputes between your users.

Kleros offers you the possibility where your users' complaints can be resolved by an impartial third party (Kleros decentralized courts) rather than by your platform's support team, giving your users a sense of justice. In this manner, apart from ensuring that your users are left with a perception of fairness, you are able to disassociate yourself from their complaints, which often result in time and cost implications for your team.

⚖️ Key challenges that Kleros solves ⚖️

<aside> 🏦 1. All companies and protocols with a large user base have their respective conflicts with their clients. These conflicts can arise between users themselves (as can happen in marketplaces) or between a user and the company in question. While attempts have been made to address this problem through customer support teams (which are often biased and costly) or by outsourcing issues to traditional justice systems (which typically involves significant time and expenses), traditional justice has not sufficiently adapted to resolve these types of conflicts. This is where Kleros comes in, offering impartial resolutions through its decentralized courts, providing fair outcomes at a reasonable cost and within a reasonable period of time.

Integration options

<aside> 👉 1

Recognition of Jurisdiction (your project as an intermediate)

For protocols seeking to minimize resource expenditure in development, the integration of the Recognition of Jurisdiction (RoJ) offers the optimal solution. This integration allows your protocol to seamlessly incorporate Kleros Courts in the background, enabling the fair resolution of any disputes that may arise within the platform, without necessitating direct user engagement with the blockchain.

Once a dispute arises on your platform, the user will contact you and provide their statement. Subsequently, your team will act as an intermediary by initiating a dispute on resolve.kleros.io. In this process, your platform simply commits (to its users) to enforce the ruling of Kleros

Recognition of Jurisdiction (Kleros team as an intermediate)

For Web 2.0 companies that traditionally do not engage with blockchain technology, the integration of the Recognition of Jurisdiction (RoJ) represents the most advantageous option. This integration empowers your company to seamlessly incorporate Kleros Courts in the background, facilitating the equitable resolution of any disputes that may arise within your platform, without requiring direct user interaction with the blockchain.

When encountering a conflict necessitating escalation to Kleros, the following procedure is to be observed:

  1. The user submits their statement via a Google Form.
  2. The company submits its statement via email.
  3. Both statements, along with any supporting evidence provided by both parties, are uploaded onto resolve.kleros.io.
