We're looking for a freelance AI image generation specialist to own the end-to-end creative image pipeline for client campaigns. You'll take loose creative direction and turn it into polished, production-ready imagery that looks like it was shot on a real set with a real camera — no hand-holding required.

This role is specifically about photorealistic, high-fidelity output. You need to be an expert at generating humans that pass the eye test — natural skin, accurate hands, realistic lighting, believable expressions. If your work still looks "AI-generated," this isn't the right fit.

The Work

Each project follows a four-step pipeline. Here's a visual walkthrough of exactly what we expect.

1. Moodboarding — Receive a creative brief and/or mood board from our team. Interpret the direction and identify a visual approach.
2. AI Generation & Creative Direction — Use Midjourney (or similar tools) to generate a set of visual directions. Present 2–3 distinct directions for client review and approval.
3. Product Compositing — Once a direction is approved, take stock product photography provided by the client and composite it into the AI-generated scenes. This includes placing products on models, in environments, and into lifestyle contexts so everything looks natural and intentional.
4. Photoshop Finishing — Clean up any AI artifacts, fix logo distortions, correct clothing/model inconsistencies, and finalize everything to be pixel-perfect and production-ready.

Each project delivers 3–5 production-ready images suitable for ad campaigns, landing pages, and press use.

What We're Looking For

• Deep, daily experience with Midjourney and/or similar AI image generation tools — you know how to prompt for specific aesthetics, not just roll the dice
• Proven ability to generate photorealistic humans — correct anatomy, natural poses, realistic lighting and skin tones
• Strong Photoshop skills, especially compositing, retouching, and detail cleanup
• An eye for brand consistency and commercial-quality output
• Ability to work independently from a loose brief — you bring the creative vision, not just execute tasks
• Reliable communication and turnaround (most projects need a 3–5 day cycle)

Compensation

$500 per project. Volume is consistent — we have ongoing client work and are looking for someone who can handle 2–4 projects per month to start.
