This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "Policy") sets forth how we handle user personal information and privacy in the app "Meal Tracker: SproutBowl" (hereinafter referred to as "the App").

1. Data Handling (Full On-Device Processing)

The App is designed so that all AI analysis and data storage are completed within the User's device (On-Device), respecting the User's privacy to the utmost.

1.1 Photo Data

Photos used for meal recording and AI analysis are analyzed directly by the AI model (Apple Vision Framework) within the device. Photo data is never sent to external servers, nor is it viewed by Us or third parties.

1.2 Meal and Family Information

Family names, birthdays, allergy information, and meal record data entered into the App are stored only within the User's device (excluding synchronization via iCloud backup). This data is never collected on our servers.

1.3 Usage Data

We may collect usage data (frequency of function use, crash logs, etc.) in an anonymous format that does not identify individuals for the purpose of improving the service. These are provided through Apple's standard statistical functions (App Analytics) and do not contain information that identifies individuals.

2. Purpose of Information Use

Information collected in the App is used only for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and operate the App (display of meal records, nutritional balance analysis, etc.)
  2. To respond to user support (when responding to inquiries, etc.)
  3. To improve service quality and address bugs (used as anonymized statistical data)

3. Third-Party Services and External Transmission

The App uses the following services and functions, and data may be processed according to their respective terms.

  1. Apple Foundation Models & Vision Framework: Used for on-device AI photo analysis (no data transmission).
  2. Apple StoreKit: Used for processing in-app purchases. Payment information is processed by Apple Inc., and We do not hold credit card information, etc.
  3. iCloud: If the User enables the iCloud backup function, data is encrypted and stored on Apple Inc.'s servers. The management of this data is subject to Apple Inc.'s terms, and We cannot access the content of such data.
