Rationale

The hype is real for Beyond Meat. It is advertised a lot by A&W. It tasted not too bad. IPO performed well out of the gate. And after the pull back, there was a bounce, so I picked up a small amount with a stop at 60.

The meatless meat market is growing as it is picking up steam as a new health fad. Health fads can explode as it targets the consumer market. Goal is to build a solid position in this with minimal original capital at risk.

This is a new market so be nimble and take profits but leave reasonable amount of profits running.

Execution

• • Took half off when I had a decent gain (~40%).
• Got out and will look for a re-entry in the future. The gains were BYND what I was expecting and the share price seems out of whack.
• Happy with the execution.
