Summary:

Amend the Juicebox DAO Governance Process to the new process as described here.

Risks:

Crisis response actions can now be taken with approval from 4 of 5 multisig signers, which is a huge risk if Multisig signers act in bad faith.

What are the changes being proposed?

In brief:

• fixed errors and added clarification in “Governance Schedule”
• Removed sentence: “Votes are only locked in at the end of the temp check.”
• Added option for contributors to redact proposal during temperature checks
• added “Step 4 - Reconfiguration Delay” section.
• Proposals in Temperature Check are frozen 24 hours before the end of Temperature Check (on Monday 5pm ET - 22:00 UTC) → Proposals cannot be edited during the last 24 hours of Temperature Check (starting Monday 00:00 UTC).
• Revamped Emergency Governance Processes

What is the goal of this proposal?

To correct errors and to improve the clarity and efficacy of the Juicebox Governance Process.

What is the expected impact of these changes?

More clarity in the governance process—we recently had our first emergency poll and things were quite unclear.
