Welcome to API Header Manager (hereinafter referred to as "the Plugin"). We understand that privacy is important to you and are committed to protecting the security of your personal information. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain to you how the Plugin handles information.

Please read and understand this Privacy Policy carefully before using the Plugin.

1. We do not collect any personal information

We solemnly promise that the core principle of this plugin is to respect and protect user privacy. Therefore:

• We do not collect, store or transmit any personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, geographic location or IP address.
• We do not collect or monitor your browsing history, web page content or any information you enter on a web page.

2. What data we process and how we process it

The only feature of this plugin is that it allows you to customize and add a Header to your web requests. in order to do this, we process the following data:

• User-configured rules and Header data: the request Header rules (e.g. Header name and value) that you set up for a specific website or for all websites.

All of this data is stored entirely in the browser's local storage on your own device. This means:

• The data never leaves your computer. We do not upload this data to any server.
• This data is only used for the core function of this plugin, which is to modify outgoing web requests as you browse the web.
• When you uninstall this plugin, all relevant data stored locally will be automatically erased by your browser.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

As we do not collect any of your personal information and will never transfer your locally stored configuration data to us or to any third party, we will not share, sell, rent or otherwise disclose any of your information with any third party.

4. Permission Statement

In order to realize the core functionality of this plugin, we will only request from you the minimum permissions necessary to run it. Each permission we request has a specific purpose to ensure the proper functioning of the plugin and to provide the best user experience:

• activeTab: When you click on the plugin's icon in your browser toolbar, we need this permission to open the plugin's admin side panel and get basic information about the current page in response to your action.
• Storage: This is the basis for personalized configuration. We need this permission to securely store all your settings (e.g. group configurations, global Headers, and the plugin's enabled state) locally in your browser. This ensures that your configuration is not lost after closing or restarting your browser and that all data remains on your device and is not uploaded to any remote server.
