Project context
Zattoo TV is an international television streaming service founded in 2006 — it allows watching live TV without cable or satellite.
- Zattoo initially offered simple cloud-based recording features, allowing customers to save programs from live TV channels
- Users could record shows for later viewing, but for recurring series had to search for upcoming episodes, and save each one individually
- Qualitative research and customer support requests indicated strong demand for better series recording options
